Unwind Crochet Zine

Unwind: Releasing Tension with Crochet is a handmade fanzine. It not only gives information on how to start crocheting, but also discusses the mental health benefits of the hobby. The two color design pushed my experimentation with halftones and overlapping colors. As crochet is a sensory experience, I chose to use scans of my own projects to display the texture of the stitches and the yarn itself. The zine is hand bound with Japanese stab binding to further connect to the fiber arts theme.

This project was selected for display in the 2026 Samford University Juried Student Art Exhibition.
